You don’t need a capo for this song, or to just be able to sing along to your own playing- only to play along to the record. Give it a go!

Yes, but some songs need a capo to play along to the song, which I advise as its fun!

Capo’s aren’t too expensive, and you’ll probably only buy one. But the cheapest way to do it is to use a pencil and two elastic bands. I don’t know how well it works but it’s worth a try. There’s a couple of vids on youtube if you’re interested.

I think you can get round that by using an elastic band and a pencil. Try googling that and see if there’s any video’s to show you how.

Over the bridge section you can stay on the A chord and play the same rhythm for 4 bars. However, for total beginners it’s best to stick the verse and chorus with the chords shown. Thanks for watching!

So a Newb shows up here looking for “easy” guitar songs and the first thing you do is put a capo on? A guy looking for a 2 chord song likely won’t have one.

Yes it is a learning tool, but there are many songs that just need a capo to sound right, ‘Here Comes the Sun’, ‘Every Breath you Take’ come to mind, try tuning a guitar to get that sound without a capo. Many great players use a capo all the time, Ry Cooder, Keith Richards (Some Girls, Jumping jack Flash), the list is huge. But it’s NOT for lazy people Honda, it’s a another tool to achieve the sound you want.

Capo’s are for lazy people. Avoid and learn the correct chords.
